The Temple Owls….8 Straight….The Mayans might be right….LOL!

mepic

In case you’re unsure what a Winner looks like.

We live in a very cynical World. A World that’s defined by success. Whether it be success in sports, business, personal, or life in general; the cynic, always has something bad to say.

Well, I’m not guilty of being a cynic (when it comes to the recent successes of the Temple Owls), and here are my reasons: I’m just a Realist!

A. The number one Florida Gators have an average margin of victory of 15.6 points per game (over their last eight games), and the Temple Owls (during their current eight-game winning streak) have an average margin of victory of 14.3 points per game!

B. With (6) of the (10) teams ranked 11 thru 20 losing this weekend, and with seven honorable mention votes (garnered during last week’s top 25); I suspect that the Temple owls football program will have their first top 25 ranking in school history, with a win on Saturday.

C. This is a team that was kicked out of the Big East just two years ago. And, if they defeat Ohio U. on November 27th; they’ll find themselves playing for a Mac Conference Championship.

Now, here’s my version of being a cynic, or maybe just someone that truly understands the “human nature” aspects of sports betting….

Saturday, the owls play a home game versus Kent State, and I believe Temple will “take a dive” (or as I like to call it); do an “ole” on Saturday, versus Kent State. You see, the more teams that “go bowling” (from ANY given conference), the more monies garnered for that conference!!! Kent State is (5-5), and in the MAC Conference you need to achieve six wins to become bowl eligible.

Yes, Kent State could beat Buffalo in their final game of the season, but as a non-conference winner @ (6-6), it’s very likely that they’ll be over-looked (by bowl committees); when these committees feel obligated to select a (6-6) teams from a better/stronger conference.

Secondly, the Temple Owls are likely to “get caught looking ahead”. Additionally, they must prepare for their virtual “Win-In Game” versus Ohio U. on short notice (only five days to prepare), after their game versus Kent State.

So, in closing this blog, I suspect that the Temple Owls will be installed as double-digit favorites (primarily because they’re at home), and due to some of the above-mentioned factors, previously mentioned.  But, I believe that they might even lose the game outright!!! So take the points (next Saturday), and laugh all the way to the proverbial bank.

p.s. If the opening line happens to come-out at 9.5 or less; that would be an incredibly EASY LINE READ, and  an obvious “Trap Line”, agree?  Chime-in and leave a comment! Personally, I see this line being set at minus 11 or 12.

Below are (10) match-ups that I believe might “middle” in 4-team/13pt format.
Now (I’m about to give all of you reading this) below are three options.
Simply choose one of the (3) “options”, and move-on! But, just remember
one thing….”This is still America, and…”It takes money, to make money!”

Option #1:

I’m giving you a strong foundation; now all you need to do
(correctly) is select (4) out of (20) teams (from my listings below, of
games that I think can middle), and configure your own 4-team/13pt teaser.

Option #2:

Spend 150.00 @ www.totallyteasersonly.com (for the 2-week trial),
and I’ll give you the “BEST POSSIBLE CONFIG” + AN EXTRA WEEK OF MY SERVICES!

Option #3:

If you’re intrigued, or just frugal; spend $8.99 (again @ www.
totallyteasersonly.com), and it’s yours! NO STRINGS ATTACHED!!! Additionally,
those individuals that have paid for this before; will be receiving my
“BEST NFL CONFIGURATION” (for Sunday), as well, late Saturday night.

Furthermore, let me leave all of you with one thought: There are (10) games listed below (that I believe could conceivably “middle” (meaning, they might win either way,  no matter whom you select), but, I “KNOW” which four team combination cannot lose… Do You???

Just a mere 8.99 will give you complete “piece of mind”.

ALL (4) TEAMS ARE @ 98/99% IN MY PREDICTIVE SCORING MODEL!!!!

In closing, the actual odds of correctly predicting (20) individual winning-legs;
from only using THESE TEN GAMES (which basically means that ALL 10-games MUST “Middle”), is somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,200 to 1 odds!!!!!

Even When I Lose; I Win!!!

mepic

I have a lot on my mind at the moment, and if this blog has the feel of being
all over the place, I apologize.

First order of business: Last night’s World Series, game two.
Now I can’t remember if I wrote the blog @ www.thetuttleway.com or on this one. But, I’m definitely adding the following angle to my follow-up best-selling baseball betting book “betting baseball ‘09″ (currently selling on Amazon.com).

The angle that I’m referring to is when a .500 or above team… Loses loses the night before by four runs or more, and they find themselves playing that same team the next day, or a lessor team, in game one of a new series.

Now in game one of the World Series, the Yankees lost 6-1. That would certainly meet the  above-mentioned criteria! Game two: Yankees win by a final score of 3-1, and couldn’t have looked any better in doing so.

And in closing on this topic; you might want to look up the blog I wrote about three months ago (here, within this blog), IN REFERENCE TO THE YANKEES WINNING IT ALL!!!!

Now onto some much juicier stuff….

Yes Virginia Tech fell apart, and my free 4-Teamer that I posted, is now a loser. But, for all my paying clients (namely my long-standing 25%ers), I told them about an epiphany that I had a few weeks ago, when Purdue beat Ohio State.
You see, Ohio State was installed as a 13.5 point favorite that day and it
was an early game.

So here was the epiphany that I had; when I realized Ohio State was about to go down to Purdue: I said “self”… ”We could have wagered on Purdue @ +600, or 6 to 1 odds, and been completely covered from such a debacle!!!

So with that being said: I told my players to hedge-out on NC @ +750!
Now at a place like sportsinteraction, you can bet a 4-teamer @ (-145), but get 13.5 points per selection. And, because I chose to use this Thursday night debacle (and because I thought it had the best chance of losing), it helped make the decision to use North Carolina on the Moneyline (as a hedge) that much easier.

Hypothetically speaking, let’s say you’re a client of mine, and you wagered 290 to win 200 on my teaser bet. At +750 (North Carolina Moneyline), how much would you have to wager to make a small profit?

The answer: A mere $40 or $50!!!
$40 = $300, and $50 = $375. Imagine, 50 bucks giving you complete peace of mind on the outcome of a football game, prior to its start time!?

Finally, I gave some of my paying clients the under 44. And the (7-0) half-time score created a very juicy 16-point “middle”. Now if you’re not quite sure what I’m talking about, allow me to elaborate.

With the score being 7-0 at halftime (on a 44 game total, at closing). That meant, that in order for the game to go over; they would have need to score (38) second-half points. Not likely, agreed?

But, the second-half total was only 20. Which means, that from 21 to 36 total points could have been scored in the second half, and the under 44 for the game line, would still be a winner!

Well, I also told some of my paying clients to do just that: Play the over 20, for the second half /tot-line. And the last I checked; (3-1) nights are not a bad thing!!! Especially, when a meager 50 dollar wager; canceled-out the one loser.

p.s. Remember people, I can always be reached @ jjtuttle131@yahoo.com or through my Skype# which is: 5616239720. I’m always looking for new clients, and I’m always trying to help others. It’s just a part of my Aquarian nature.

In case you’re unsure what a Winner looks like.

Here’s something I bet you didn’t know: There were 12 games played in the NFL, yesterday. And 11 of the 12 teams that won; also covered the point spread!!!

Additionally, 11 of the 12 teams that won; decisively won the turnover battle, too. The only team that won yesterday that lost the turnover battle and still covered, was New Orleans!

These are just some of the many things that I keep track of (and that I teach in all my sports  betting books), and at the very least it will help prolong the longevity of your sports betting career. I NEVER LIE: An Ounce of Truth, that Will Help ALL Football Bettors

I gave ALL of my paying clients the same 4-team/13pt teaser: BC+11.5, A&M-1, UNLV+9.5, and FSU-1. Unfortunately, FSU (specifically QB Christian Ponder), played like a bunch of High School kids, instead of men and lost outright (17-7)!

But, there’s always a silver lining with me, and the proverbial glass is ALWAYS “HALF FULL”. See, at halftime the Seminoles were losing outright (14-0); as -14pt favorites. And, when I saw that FSU was ONLY LAYING (-7.5) for the 2nd half line; I instinctively “knew” that it was a TRAP, and a BEAR TRAP AT THAT! Allow me to elaborate….

Ok, we had a -14pt fav losing outright by 14, at halftime, correct? Correct. Which means, in order for FSU to “cover” (and that wasn’t looking very likely) they would have to outscore S. Fla. by 28 points; just to cause it to be a “push”! So, in order for them to comeback and just win the game; they’re going to need to outscore them (S. Florida) by at least (14), just to tie the game, correct? Yes, that is correct!

Which now brings me to my “point”….If FSU was “supposed to win”, or at the very least cover the 2nd half line; then a line of AT LEAST (-13.5) should have been placed on FSU, for the 2nd half spread. When I saw a mere 7.5, I KNEW IT WAS A TRAP, and I called ALL of my long-standing 25%er clients and told them to “hedge-out” on S.FLA+7.5 for the 2nd half. My clients make money with me, ALWAYS!!! I’m constantly looking-out for their best interest.

Written Apology:

In my newest football betting book: “Football Betting the Tuttle Way” (link to buy http://budurl.com/7bt7 ), I talked about an “angle” that I went against, that goes something like this….

“As of week#4,  in College Football, if you simply bet against the lower third of the Top-25; you WILL make money every week!” Well, FSU was ranked #18 going into today’s game vs. S. Florida, and they certainly didn’t “cover”!!!

 (0-1)

p.s. For the record, here are #19 thru #25 and whom they’re up against, for today.

#19 BYU-18 @ home vs. CSU

(1-1)

#20 KAN-12.5….WIN, NO COVER (35-28) vs. So. Miss

(1-2)

#21 Georgia is -13 vs. ASU @ 7:00EST

(1-3)

#22 N. Carolina was +3 @ GT, and got beat by the final of: (24-7)

(1-4)

#23 MICH was -19, and escaped with a mere 3-point win over Indiana!

(1-5)

#24 WASH is a +6.5 dog at Standford, later tonight.

(1-6)

#25 Nebraska-30.5 vs. UL Lafayette……”Added/Circled” game!

(2-6)

Analysis for Saturday…No more blogs until Saturday night!

Not to break my arm patting myself on the back, but last Thursday night I posted a winning 4-team/13pt teaser; which also went (4-0) ATS!!! Well, tonight is my date with the proverbial angel and I’m feeling generous.

So, I’m going to give all of you reading this blog a lesson in L.I. (Not to be confused with Long Island), but instead, “Line Interpretation”.

Knowing how to read into “Propaganda Stats” is crucial. In ALL of my football betting books (there will be links to them posted at the end of this blog), I talk about how incredibly invaluable it is to own the yearly/updated edition(s) of  “The Marc Lawrence Playbook”. Additionally, I have absolutely NO affiliations with said gentleman.

Well here goes, for Saturday September 12th….

N. Carolina is (4-2) ATS in their L-4 Road Games. Their traveling to UCONN; where the Huskies are (12-2) SU (Straight-up!), over there last (14) home games. What the book fails to mention (and this goes to the reason why I’ve given it the moniker of “Propaganda Stats”), is UCONN (over said 14-games) is only (7-7) ATS!

In 13-point format, I LOVE NC here! Instead of (-4.5) we can get them at an extremely tasty (+8.5)!

Last week in the PSU home opener, the Nitany Lions were going for a near perfect (8-1; ATS) start, over their last 4-seasons of September home games. But, they didn’t cover last week versus lowly Akron; winning (31-7) on a 24.5 or 25 closing line. Syracuse on the other hand was an abysmal (1 of 12) on 3rd down conversions vs. Minn….All I can say is: I feel sorry for the former Duke point guard (who now plays QB @ Syracuse) Greg Paulus, he’s gonna take a major pounding Saturday afternoon!

I’m all over PSU-15.5, again, in 13pt format!

The third and final game that I’m willing to shed some light on is: Central Mich @ MSU

The natural line on this affair is Mich St-14.5. And in my World, taking them down to minus only a mere (-1.5), is a total steal! My reasoning is really very rudimentary. You see, poor CMU is a horrendous road team! And, they’re even worse versus Big Ten opponents! In their L-17 tries vs. BIG-10 competition, they have an away record of (1-16)!!!!

If you want, feel free to try and select the 4th and final part of this particular 4-teamer on your own. Or, you can always click on the following link  http://budurl.com/hwwf (pay a small $8.99 fee, and “know” what my 4th team is), and get my personal “BEST BET” of this upcoming weekend, and use that game as your 4th part!  http://budurl.com/hwwf

Does Execution Matter???

Execution levels vary from team to team, and from game to game. In yesterday’s Minn @ Syr game, the two teams combined for a whopping (6 of 29) on their 3rd down conversion attempts.

Needless to say, 21% on 3rd down(s) should (and in this case it did) lead to an under. The closing total on this contest was 48.5, and the final was 23-20; this score included an added overtime session.

And just for the record, typically, the number of games that has such an abysmal (combined) percentile, is usually around 1 of 12. Lets use a much lower scoring contest and compare, shall we?!

Example: BYU (14) OKLAHOMA (13)….This game had 16 less points scored, but the execution rates (at least on 3rd down) was a lot better in this affair. (10 of 28) were the combined final numbers, and that equates to approximately 36%.

Obviously, the stat of 3rd down efficiency is a tad overrated. Wouldn’t you agree?

So, why did the Minn/Syr game get to (43) with such a poor conversion ratio? And how did this game produce 16 more total points?  A. Well, there were a lot more 2nd & short (3 yards or less) scenarios in the Minn @ Syracuse game. B. PENALTIES!

In te BYU/Okla game, there were (4) more penalties for (38) more yards. Additionally, after a thorough examination of the videotape analysis (which I just finished, before writing this blog); I noticed a lot of P.A.D. in the Minn/Syr game. By the way, just in case you’ve never purchased any of my published football books; currently selling on Amazon.com. The P.A.D. is an acronym for (Penalty Aided Drive)!!!

My complete array of written works (pseudonyms included) can be found on Amazon.com; by simply typing my full name in their search box (Joseph J. Tuttle).

p.s. Just in case some of you regulars of mine forgot; read the posting dated August 27th and/or September 3rd!!!

Are You Ready for Some Football?!?!

I guess it was around 2002 or 2003 when I was initially exposed to the 4-team/13pt teaser bet. Well, in the proceeding years, I’ve become incredibly proficient at selecting winners in this format. So much so, that I designed a website called www.totallyteasersonly.com.

The primary wagers that I’ll be giving to my clientele will almost exclusively be these 4-team/13pt teaser configurations.

Below is an example of a “small play” (when I say “small play”, I mean, that I’ll telling my payers to wager no more than 120.00 to win 100.00 on it), but if you are interested in becoming a paying client; simply join-up through the website @ www.totallyteasersonly.com. I will have bigger/better ones to wager on!

Freebie for Saturday:

NOTRE DAME-1, UNDER 80.5 BYU/OKLA, PURDUE+2.5, C. MICH+26.5

Assuming that you’re a naturally astute person; you should have noticed that the final part was a “late game”, did you? This was done intentionally, as a way to ensure a true hedging possibility.

Hypothetically speaking, if the first three parts all come-in and there’s ample time to “hedge-out” on the 4th/final part of the wager (and in this configuration there is), then, you really should! By taking Arizona-13.5, you cannot lose for the day/night! And, you’ll be creating a massive 13-point “middle” for yourself as well.

If you do this, and Arizona wins by 14 to 26; you WIN AN EXTRA BET! FREE MONEY!  If you’d like me to answer any questions about this wager, or the strategy involved, write to me @ jjtuttle131@yahoo.com.

And for the record… The online sportsbook that gives the best odds for this particular wager is www.bodog.com(-120 to win 100). Additionally, if you deposit 300.00 or more (initially), and mention me & my reference # (JOSEPH TUTTLE/64746); You’ll receive the maximum in bonuses.

A Winner for Thursday Night….

If you’ve become a regular to this blog; you’ve probably read my analysis of the Saturday game between Baylor @ Wake Forest. Now, I’m going to indirectly give you my analysis of another “Revenge Game”, in which, the spread is noticeably different from last year’s match-up and so might be the final outcome. And my hope is (as it always is) that I will teach you something highly invaluable towards future wagering endeavors.

Many years ago (when Brett Favre was still attending/playing football at So. Miss), I started to notice some very significant with some of the week-to-week line changes and I developed the concept of the DLC, or Drastic Line Change.

I can vividly remember a much-hyped So. Miss team going into Happy Valley (Penn State, for the under-educated or uninitiated college football gambler), and getting their heads handed to them by the Nitany Lions. PSU was a mere (-6) on the closing line, and a lot of “experts” (myself included) thought that So. Miss might actually win outright. Instead, PSU won like breakin” sticks!

But the very next Saturday, So. Miss was installed as an 18 to 19 point favorite versus the Houston Cougars. I thought to myself…..“Gee, what a “Confident Line. After getting brutalized by Penn St. (just one week earlier) they’re now almost three touchdown favorites! I was simply on them a week too soon. They MUST be the right side!”

So, I made a hefty wager on them (So. Miss) for myself, and I gave-out So. Miss to ALL of my clients! And if memory serves my correctly, So. Miss won by 24 or 28, and the game was very “one-sided” from the start to the final gun.

There’s such a game on Thursday Night, and by simply doing a little “Due-Diligence”, I’m sure that you’ll figure it out. Or, you can always pay a mere $19.95 @ http://budurl.com/m67q and allow me to do the brain-work for you!
